What is DU JAT?


DU JAT or Delhi University Joint Admission Test is an entrance exam conducted for admission to BMS (Bachelor in Management Studies), BA (Hons) Business Economics or BBA (Bachelors in Business Administration) programmes offered by the colleges affiliated to Delhi University. This is a highly competitive exam. Every year more than 15000 students appear for the exam.

DU JAT Eligibility Criteria


  • The appearing candidate should have cleared Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other class 12 equivalent examination from any board/recognized institute, university.
  • Candidates belonging to general category must have secured at least 60% aggregate in Class 12.
  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST, CW and PwD categories should have attained a minimum of 55 per cent aggregate in Class 12.
  • Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes must have secured at least 54 per cent aggregate.
  • This aggregate should be based on the candidate's score in four papers – English, Mathematics and two other subjects mentioned in the List B (Elective Subjects) of DU UG Admission Information Bulletin.
  • Candidates awaiting Class 12 results can also apply.
  • Eligibility Criteria for merit-based admissions under the EWS category shall be similar to that of UR category.


DU JAT Admission Process


Centered on their DU JAT ranking and Class 12 Board aggregate, the admission process includes shortlisting applicants. Document checking and spot distribution of seats are accompanied by this.

  • Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
